Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GigScript is developed and maintained by Pekka Huuskonen, an individual developer based in Finland. You can reach us at pekka.huuskonen@gmail.com.

2. What data GigScript processes

2.1 Data stored locally on your device

GigScript stores the following data exclusively on your device using the operating system's local storage:

• Songs you create or import (lyrics, chords, metadata)
• Setlists and their contents
• Application settings (language preference, notation style)
• Sync preferences (chosen cloud provider, folder name)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.

2.2 Cloud sync (optional)

If you choose to enable Band Sync, GigScript will connect to a cloud storage service of your choice (Dropbox or Google Drive). In that case:

• Your songs and setlists are uploaded to your own account on that service — not to any GigScript server.
• GigScript only accesses the specific folder you designate. It does not read, modify, or delete any other files in your cloud storage.
• Authentication is handled directly by Dropbox or Google using the OAuth 2.0 standard. GigScript never sees or stores your Dropbox or Google password.
• Access tokens (used to communicate with the cloud service) are stored securely on your device using the operating system's secure storage.

You can disconnect cloud sync at any time from the Band Sync screen. Disconnecting removes the stored tokens from your device.

2.3 In-app purchases

GigScript offers a one-time Pro upgrade. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). GigScript does not receive or store your payment information. When RevenueCat is used to manage entitlements, it operates under its own privacy policy.

3. Data GigScript does NOT collect

GigScript does not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
• Crash reports sent to GigScript servers
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Contacts or any other data from your device

4. Third-party services

When you use certain features, third-party services may process data under their own privacy policies:

• Dropbox — dropbox.com/privacy
• Google Drive / Google Sign-In — policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple App Store — apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google Play — policies.google.com/privacy
• Expo / EAS (build and distribution platform) — expo.dev/privacy

5. Children's privacy

GigScript is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

2. Mitä tietoja GigScript käsittelee

2.1 Laitteelle paikallisesti tallennettu tieto

GigScript tallentaa seuraavat tiedot yksinomaan laitteellesi käyttöjärjestelmän paikalliseen tallennukseen:

• Luomasi tai tuomasi kappaleet (sanat, soinnut, metatiedot)
• Settilistat ja niiden sisältö
• Sovelluksen asetukset (kielivalinta, notaatiotyyli)
• Synkronointiasetus (valittu pilvipalvelu, kansion nimi)

Nämä tiedot eivät koskaan poistu laitteeltasi, ellei pilvisynkronointi ole erikseen käytössä.

2.2 Pilvisynkronointi (valinnainen)

Jos otat käyttöön bändisynkronoinnin, GigScript muodostaa yhteyden valitsemaasi pilvipalveluun (Dropbox tai Google Drive). Tällöin:

• Kappaleesi ja settilistasi ladataan omaan tiliisi kyseisessä palvelussa — ei GigScriptin palvelimille.
• GigScript käyttää vain määrittämääsi kansiota. Se ei lue, muokkaa tai poista muita tiedostojasi pilvipalvelussa.
• Kirjautuminen tapahtuu suoraan Dropboxin tai Googlen kautta OAuth 2.0 -standardia käyttäen. GigScript ei koskaan näe tai tallenna Dropbox- tai Google-salasanaasi.
• Käyttöoikeustunnukset (joita käytetään pilvipalvelun kanssa viestimiseen) tallennetaan turvallisesti laitteellesi käyttöjärjestelmän suojattuun tallennustilaan.

Voit katkaista pilvisynkronoinnin milloin tahansa bändisynkronointi-näytöltä. Katkaisu poistaa tallennetut tunnukset laitteeltasi.

2.3 Sovelluksen sisäiset ostokset

GigScript tarjoaa kertaluonteisen Pro-päivityksen. Ostot käsittelee Apple (App Store) tai Google (Google Play). GigScript ei vastaanota tai tallenna maksutietojasi. Kun RevenueCat-palvelua käytetään oikeuksien hallintaan, se toimii oman tietosuojapolitiikkansa mukaisesti.

3. Tietoja joita GigScript EI kerää

GigScript ei kerää, välitä tai käytä:

• Nimeäsi, sähköpostiosoitettasi tai muita tilitietoja
• Käyttöanalytiikkaa tai käyttäytymisseurantaa
• Kaatumisraportteja GigScriptin palvelimille
• Laitetunnisteita tai mainostunnuksia
• Sijaintitietoja
• Yhteystietoja tai muita laitteesi tietoja

4. Kolmannen osapuolen palvelut

Tiettyjen ominaisuuksien käyttö saattaa käsitellä tietoja kolmannen osapuolen palveluissa niiden omien tietosuojakäytäntöjen mukaisesti:

• Dropbox — dropbox.com/privacy
• Google Drive / Google-kirjautuminen — policies.google.com/privacy
• Apple App Store — apple.com/legal/privacy
• Google Play — policies.google.com/privacy
• Expo / EAS (build- ja jakelupalvelu) — expo.dev/privacy

5. Lasten tietosuoja

GigScript ei ole suunnattu alle 13-vuotiaille lapsille. Emme tietoisesti kerää henkilötietoja lapsilta.

6. Muutokset tähän selosteeseen

Voimme päivittää tätä tietosuojaselostetta ajoittain. Päivitetty versio julkaistaan tässä osoitteessa uudella päivämäärällä. Suosittelemme tarkistamaan tämän sivun säännöllisesti.
